final project sketches WIP-- Victoria

I was inspired by a novel about Empress Dowager Cixi of China as well as some chinese and korean dramas to create a piece using that design language. I wanted to create a story where a lady of the palace is going to attack the emperor or other high ranking figure using one of her hair pins.

I have been struggling to create the kind  of dynamic image I am looking for, especially in the perspective.

These are in order of process from earliest WIP to latest

I'm finding that I am still struggling to make the body of my main subject look natural and more dynamic.
